Since our school, we all have been preached that drinking is bad for health. Turns out, it might be good if done under limits. The word is that drinking beer might be good for your health.
Before giving our words, we had to investigate. From several researches, this might seem to be a real thing. From the last many days, I’ve been doing some research, and came up with 7 reasons why beer is beneficial for your health.
1 , Beer can decrease your risk of heart disease
According to a research, a moderate beer drinker, who consumed 2 drinks per day in men or 1 in women, there was a 20-40% decrease in the coronary artery disease. This can be the number one reason why you should consider visiting your nearest liquor store in night.
They also showed quite a good increase in levels of good cholesterol and at the same decrease in bad one. Doctors too say that beer can lower the risk of heart disease by 25% if consumed within limits.
2, Reduce the likelihood of Cancer
One compound found in beer is Xanthohumol. There are studies that show that this compound shows promised results in preventing and also treating some types of cancers. The compound has also been known to curb the cancers that causes enzymes and also shut down abnormal cell growth.
3, It Helps you Sleep Better
Beer also contains nicotinic acid along with lactoflavin. Both of these components when combined act quite similar to melatonin and helps you rest and take a sound sleep.
4, Beer is good for Your Skin too
It has also been known that the vitamins present in beer can help you regulate the appearance of your skin. The yeast in beer is inactive and helps your skin to maintain pH balance which results in healthy and clear skin.
5, Beer has anti infectious, and anti-inflammatory natural properties
The female flowers of Hop plant ( Hops ), are full of bitter acids which have proven powerful inflammation properties. Hops are also suggested to prevent and treat respiratory infections present in one’s body.
6, Beer drinking leads to stronger bones
Beer also contains VitaminB, dietary silicon and bioactive polyphenol. All of these contribute to building of better and stronger bones. Silicon to be specific, is very good for healthy bone development and can also help one to fight osteoporosis. IPA’s are believed to have the highest level of this healthy bone builder.
7, Drinking beer also boosts memory
Researches have also found that moderate amounts of beer after age of 60 helps you to keep your brain in better functioning state along with better memory capacity. As per the research, average beer drinkers are less likely to get affected by Alzheimer’s. However, don’t use the points above as an excuse to drink. Consuming too much is still linked to reduction in memory.
